To me, the Chicago Farmer’s Market season is easily one of the best parts of summer in the city.

There’s just something about wandering through a neighborhood market with an iced drink in hand while picking up fresh flowers, pastries, seasonal produce, and small finds you probably didn’t plan on buying but absolutely leave with anyway.

Whether you’re looking for a quick weekday market downtown or a huge Sunday market worth planning your morning around, this guide rounds up Chicago farmers’ markets happening throughout the week for you to enjoy all summer long.

Monday Farmers Markets Chicago

Wednesday Farmers Markets Chicago

Andersonville Farmers Market — 1500 W. Winona Ave. Wednesdays, 3 p.m. – 7 p.m. May 13 – October 21, 2026. One of the best midweek neighborhood farmers markets in Chicago, with pastries, produce, flowers, baked goods, and local food vendors throughout Andersonville.

Green City Market — 1817 N. Clark St. Wednesdays, 7 a.m. – 1 p.m. May 6 – October 28, 2026. If there’s one Chicago farmers market everyone knows, it’s Green City Market in Lincoln Park.
