St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Chicago River Dyeing

March 15th | Downtown Chicago
If you’re visiting in Chicago in March, then you must experience the St. Patrick’s Day Parade and River Dyeing. Watch on Michigan Avenue or Wacker Drive as the tradition continues to turn the Chicago River a dazzling emerald green. On the same day, the St. Patrick’s Day Parade, one of the largest in the U.S., featuring festive floats, marching bands, and Irish dancers, also takes place.

Holi Celebration at Navy Pier

March 22nd | Navy Pier
Celebrate Holi in Chicago at Navy Pier. This annual event takes place in the Navy Pier’s Aon Grand Ballroom and will feature free live music, dance, and educational programming commemorating the Hindu “Festival of Colors.” Guests will also be invited to take part in the spirited tradition of colored powder throwing and enjoy DJs in Navy Pier’s outdoor Beer Garden. Powder will be available for purchase on-site.

Chicago’s leading artist-exhibited fair returns, featuring 115+ emerging artists, live DJs, interactive installations, and a new Artisan Edit showcasing ceramics, glass, metal & wood art.
