What are some of your go-to Chicago activities?
My favorite thing to do is walk! You never know what little area or newfound adventures you’ll run into just walking. In the summertime, I love to have cocktails on the various rooftops (IO at the Godfrey) being one of my faves.

What’s Your favorite Chicago restaurant right now?
My favorite restaurants change constantly. One of my favorites right now is Azul Mariscos on Elston. This spot is summer fun and cute! It’s right along the lake and there’s indoor/outdoor dining and a rooftop. The food is phenomenal. Make sure to try the crab legs, Asada steaks, waffle fries, or tacos. You can’t go wrong with the food here. Also, the music is always on point. Live DJ is great!
What Chicago art has caught your eye recently?
I’m loving Bisa Butlers work and you can check out her beautiful portraits at the Art Institute of Chicago until September 6th.

What Chicago-based community organizations do you support?
I do not belong to a particular organization at this time, but one organization I would love to shout out is Black Creativity. The program and its events pays tribute to the culture, heritage, and scientific contributions of African Americans. You can find out more through the Museum of Science and Industry.
What’s a popular clothing store that you enjoy in the city?
I’m more of an online shopper, but for cute summer dresses, I love TriBeca in the West Loop.
