Urban Stewards Action Network (USAN) invites you to their 2nd Food Fun(d)ing Friday. Based on the Sunday Soup model, Food Funding Friday is a community event which gathers the public together to learn about and support urban farming and food projects in Chicago—paying particular attention to projects led by Black and Brown stewards. The harvest edition of this event will feature four participants pitching their ideas, featured hors d’oeuvres by B’Gabs Vegan Scratch Kitchen, music by DJ Rae Chardonnay. This year marks the 40th anniversary of the 1978 fantasy musical film, and there’s no better way to celebrate it than to be SEEN GREEN or caught DEAD RED. Because of the legacy of the film, the Arts Bank Cinema will host an extravagant all-day celebration featuring performing arts, fashion, music, and cinema.
