This weekend, shop a selection of vintages goods at a Rooftop Vintage Market in the South Loop. Catch some vibes during brunch and day-party in Bridgeport. Sample BBQ smothered racks from around the nation at the Windy City Ribfest. Stand up for families the Daley Center. Celebrate the quintessential Chicago art form, known as “Footwork” at the Museum of Contemporary Art, plus more things to do this weekend in Chicago.


Rooftop Vintage Market

Another Damn Pop-up Shop

RUNCH-SKI is an all-day collaborative experience led by Brunchlox x Kimski. The monthly event will celebrate the start of a new month with PORK OF JULY. The event will feature pork-themed dishes for the Brunchlox brunch and Kimski dinner menu. Drink options for the event include 40+ draft beers hundreds of bottles/cans, and delicious craft cocktails served up by Maria’s Packaged Goods staff. A Johnson Publishing Story Opening

Join the Rebuild Foundation for the opening of A Johnson Publishing Story, an exhibition spotlighting materials from the Johnson Publishing Archive, which features more than 15,000 items donated to Rebuild Foundation including books, periodicals, ephemera, paintings, and sculpture. The archive also includes original furnishings and interior design elements custom-designed for Ebony/Jet Building, now a historical landmark in downtown Chicago. The evening will also feature Theaster Gates in conversation with Linda Johnson Rice discussing the stewardship, preservation, and promotion of Black excellence.
