Most can agree that Kanye West’s The College Dropout is a Hip-Hop classic album. Re-live the vibes of the early 2000s as Chicago’s own Sidewalk Chalk performs the classic 13-year-old album in its entirety. Kick off the weekend with Sidewalk Chalk,  a leading contemporary evolution of hip-hop, soul, and jazz. The band is launching its fourth album and is sharing its unique sound with the downtown crowd this Friday night.

What I’m Seeking:

I am back in Chicago this weekend! Some events that I really want to attend include the Vegan Made Festival, Lake FX, and Sidewalk Chalk’s performance at Untitled. There are a couple of day parties like the Day & Night event that I am hoping to stop through as well. As always, check me out in @Instagram as I am always sharing what I am seeking in the city!

Have an event to share? Send me an e-mail with event details and I’ll be sure to include it in an upcoming Seeker’s Guide!
