The Edgewater Crawl includes food tastings, drink samples and live pop up activations throughout the several businesses stops along Broadway’s southern end between Bryn Mawr and Berwyn. A portion of ticket sales for this event will be donated to GirlForward, a community of support dedicated to creating and enhancing opportunities for girls who have been displaced by conflict and persecution. The Chicago Beer Festival will take place at the Field Museum for a one of a kind experience night at museum experience. The event will feature dozens of local and domestic breweries, sampling their spring seasonal beers alongside natural and historical wonders. The event will take place at Lillstreet Art Center and will benefit First Slice, an initiative to fight hunger in Chicago. Join USNC for UN Women in partnership with Woman Made Gallery for a weekend brunch and learn, celebrating the impact of artistic expression and feminist social advocacy. Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater returns to the Auditorium Theatre, at Roosevelt University this month for their annual spring performance series. The company, known for changing the perception of American dance, will feature six different performance this year, including several inspiring new works, as well as Ailey’s masterpiece Revelations. What I’m Seeking:

This weekend, I will kick off my weekend by attending the Green Tie Ball in the West Loop. Saturday, I am kicking it with the Hampton vs. Howard crowd at the Chicago Classic, followed by a chill night with a few friends on the North Side. Sunday, I might just seek the city a little bit.
