Enjoy delicious meals from some of the cities best restaurants during Chicago Restaurant Week starting this weekend in Chicago. Chicago Restaurant Week begins January 24th through February 9th. It is an annual food event that allows visitors and local foodies to enjoy specialty prix fixe menus from more than 400 participating throughout Chicago and nearby suburbs. Treat your taste buds to multi-course meals that range from $24 to $48 (excluding beverages, tax, and gratuity). Chef Oyster Series Wrap Party

This weekend, wrap up an exciting Chef Oyster series with Portsmith in River North. The $35 ticket to the party includes the top three oysters from the Chef Oyster Series, oyster shucking stations, sustainable seafood hors d’oeuvres, and two Ketel One Botanical cocktail drink tickets. Be Creative Activation Station

Join Chicago’s Black creative community on the South Side of Chicago this weekend. As part of his Memories Museum exhibition at the Logan Center, the local Chicago artist Edo will be creating an afternoon entitled the “Be Creative Activation Station”, featuring merchandise from “Infinite Inception,” “Tru Lies,” and “TRAP.” Join Edo and his colleagues with a printing press as they do custom merchandise on site in Cafe Logan. Global Connections: Chinese New Year

Celebrate Chinese New Year with free programming at the Aon Grand Ballroom at Navy Pier this weekend. The event features live dance, music, and other performances, plus traditional food, crafts and more! Usher in the “Year of the Rat” with a traditional Chinese New Year Celebration that’s More Than You Imagine. Presented in partnership with the Chinese Fine Arts Society, this vibrant display of cultural expression features festive décor, bold costumes, customary music and more.
