Haute Happy Hour: Chicago Food and Drink Specials November 2019

Sip on speciality cocktails and sensational comfort food during this November Happy Hour. Check out the latest list of food and drink specials in Chicago, featuring conveniently located after-work spots and local hot spots.

The key phrase in happy hour is ‘happy.’ So, keep in mind that menus are subject to change, as many menus often do because of seasonality and availability. Be sure to contact the restaurant or visit their website for additional details before heading out to the happy hour of your choosing.


Mondays

South Loop – Mei’s, 1101 S Wabash Ave.

The near Columbia College, Mei’s restaurant in the South Loop offers a variety of Asian themed happy hour specials five days a week. Specials include $6 select beer, $6 glasses of wine and $6 well cocktails. Food specials include Shanghai spring rolls (choice of vegetable, shrimp or Berkshire pork, $5 for two), chicken wings ($6), hummus platter with vegetables and pita ($7), sliders (3 for $7, add fries for $2), and truffle fries ($5). 

Daily specials are offered Monday through Friday 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

South Loop – Tantrum, 1023 S. State St. 

Start your week off with a little fun and games this November. Stop by Tantrum Chicago every Monday this month for bingo. Enjoy the interactive game as you sip on $5 Margaritas, Speciality Martinis, and $3 Miller Lites.

Happy Hour specials are available Mondays from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Tuesdays

The Loop – Wishbone, 161 N Jefferson St. 

Fill up on Southern bites and delights every week day at Wishbone in the West Loop. Located near Ogilvie train station and an array of downtown corporate headquarters, this eatery features a Happy Hour menu that includes a variety of food and drink specials. Enjoy $7 Crawfish Beignets, $6 Southern Brisket Sliders, $7 Kentucky Parfait and $5 Jambalaya. Our drink specials include $2 off all house cocktails, $3 Bourbon or Tequila shots, $5 Pickle Back shots and $12 Miller buckets.

Happy Hour food and drink specials are available Monday through Friday, from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

West Loop – Rooh, 736 W Randolph St. 

Rooh, the latest restaurant to grace Randolph Street offers a happy hour menu that centers around their progressive Indian cuisine. Enjoy dishes such as the Chicken 65, and the Cocktail of the Week for less than $8.

Happy Hour specials are available on Tuesday through Thursday & Sunday 4:30 p.m. –6:00 p.m. at the main bar

Wednesdays

Lakeview – Hutch American Bistro, 1111 W Lake St.

Come hungry, leave happy every Wednesday at The Hutch American Bistro in Lakeview. The neighborhood restaurant offers discount bites such as $5 Hutch Fries and Texas Nachos. Drinks include $5 well drinks, draft beer, wine, and $3 champagne.

Happy Hour specials are available Monday – Saturday from 3:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.

RefuSHE Happy Hour – Damen Tavern, 701 North Damen Ave. 

Raise a glass to charity this month in Chicago. Celebrate ReuSHE’s mission to provide holistic care to refugee girls and young women living in Nairobi, Kenya during their annual happy hour. Join RefuSHE’s Auxiliary Board for well drinks, wine, and domestic beer. Hor d’oeuvres will be available on a first come first basis.

Thursdays

The Loop – ROOF, 201 N. State St. 

Rooftop fans rejoice—your season is far from over. Wind down at ROOF on theWit hotel every day of the week. Enjoy speciality libations such as $10 ROOF Old Fashioned of the Day, $10 Glass of G.H Mumm Champage, and rotating food specials. Sip libations and dine on tasty bites while enjoying rooftop views of the city.

Happy Hour specials are available Monday – Friday from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the rooftop bar.

River North – Untitled Supper Club, 1450 W Chicago Ave. 

Experience Happy Hour at one of Chicago’s most well-known speakeasy lounges. Untitled Supper Club offers a weekly Bourbon and burger happy hour special. Enjoy an $8 Old Fashioned and half-off on burgers. After your libations, stick around for nightly entertainment that varies from live bands to burlesque shows.

Happy Hour specials are available Monday – Thursday from 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

Fridays

The Loop – The Florentine, 151 W Adams St. 

Free pizza every Friday? Thats an excellent way to end the work week. Visit The Florentine inside the JW Marriot for their weekly happy hour. The restaurant inside of the downtown hotel offers complimentary pizza with the purchase of a beer, cocktail or glass of wine. Pizza not your thing? Additional food and drink specials are available as well.

Happy Specials are available at the bar Monday through Friday, from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Near West Side – The Ogden, 1659 W Ogden AveSt. 

Conveniently located near the United Center, The Ogden is the ideal place to grab a drink before a Bulls or Blackhawks game. On Fridays, the local bar offer $5 seasonal drafts and $5 Fireball shots–a great combination to get your weekend started off right!

Happy Specials are available Monday through Friday, from 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. Specials may vary for United Center event days.
