Last weekend, the weather threw a pitch that we were not yet ready for; the first pitch of fall. It’s been wonderful weather all summer long, but as a all fashionista’s know, fall style, is where it is at!
Throwing pants back into the rotation can be tough, to get back into the swing of things I created a sporty yet chic look, that was perfect for the cooler summer night. I rocked this look to a baseball game. Go Sox! And an evening at Reggie’s rock club in the South loop.
For this look, I paired my favorite J Brand High Waisted jeans with a white peplum blouse. The two paired together accentuated my waist. I kept it casual on the footwear and rocked my tried and true high-top converse. Finally, I capped things off with the home teams fitted White Sox cap. Since it was cooler out, I made sure to have a jacket in case I got too chilly.
A black and white look like this is incredible versatile. It can easily transition from athletic chic to alluring fleek by eliminating the cap and stilettos in a bright color. Add a statement making jewelry like a ring or necklace to draw attention to the great v-neck in the peplum top.
