Kendall College Trust is hosting its fourth annual Fried Chicken & Champagne Fest on Saturday, February 2. Our Existence is Resistance: Dialogue on Gender-Based Violence

The International Indigenous Youth Council and Good Kids Mad City invite you to join in on active dialogue towards changing the narrative on gender-based violence. This event will be held at Bluhm Legal Clinic’s Center on Negotiation & Mediation at Northwestern Pritzker’s School of Law. This forum will be home to a host of educators, speakers, and activists in which topics of inherited trauma, lived experiences, preventative education, and resources to combat gender-based violence will be discussed at length. Valentines Against Violence and Incarceration

Send love and solidarity to women in prison this month. Join Chicago Book to Women in Prison, Mom United Against Violence and Incarceration, and Read/Write Library for letter writing in solidarity with incarcerated women. Pitchfork and the Art Institute of Chicago are proud to announce Midwinter, a three-night event taking place at the Art Institute on February 15-17, 2019. Midwinter will feature performances from over 30 artists, with performances taking place each night throughout the museum. Various gallery spaces will also feature ambient installations by various artists inspired by and responding to the iconic works at the Art Institute. In addition to the shows and installations, Pitchfork Radio will broadcast live from the Art Institute. Ticketholders can sit in on artist interviews, DJ sets, conversations, and more. 2019 Argyle Lunar New Year
