Kick off your Friday night with an evening in Hyde Park. Nikko Washington, the Artistic Director for Chicago hip-hop collective, Savemoney, will exhibit his solo show in his native Hyde Park neighborhood. “Nikko Washington: 53 ’til Infinity, “highlights the artists most recent works, some of which have been created specifically for this show and will be seen for the first time. wndr After Dark

The latest art experience to hit Chicago is kicking off another year in the city with the first After Dark series of the year. If you are like me, you love a good after dark event! On Friday, Jan. 11 and Saturday, Jan. 12, the museum will be turning the lights down and music up with a live DJ until 11:00 p.m. Guests will get the entire wndr experience, including the Yayoi Kusama Infinity Mirror Room, Ames optical illusion room, personalized poetry from a resident wndr poet, and much more. What I’m Seeking:

Chicago, I am truly debating on how I want to spend my weekend. I have a lot of goals outside of the blog that I am aiming to reach by spring and need to get on top of them! I will most likely seek do a lot of work from home, while stepping out throughout the weekend to seek the city, just a little bit, with some friends.
