SoundChick Accessories presents “Chick Magic” Spring Pop Up Shop. The local accessories brand along with fellow artisans partnered with the Bridgeport event space Gallery Thirty5 for a holiday market in 2017. The collective is back by popular demand to once again gather artists and creatives for a unique pop-up shop featuring minority-owned businesses. Join the conversation on traceable food, sustainability, and other good food practices at the 14th Annual Good Food EXPO in Chicago. The two-day event highlights a healthier— more environmentally sustainable and more economically dynamic food system. The Good Food Festival & Marketplace is a family-friendly day of inspiring speakers, tastings from food artisans, DIY workshops, chef demos, an interactive kids’ corner. The Good Food Marketplace will showcase over 150 farmers, artisanal food producers, retailers, other vendors, and nonprofit organizations — all designed to grow the Good Food movement. Haus Dog Day–Dog Haus Biergarten Chicago Opening

Dog Haus Biergarten, the L.A based chain makes its Chicago premiere this weekend in Lincoln Park. The “craft casual concept” knows that Chicago is holy ground for hotdogs. to build its cred in Chicago, the restaurant will be serving up free Haus Dogs all day on Saturday. While the chain is not known for offering sausages, it will periodically feature specials featuring the incased-pork-delight. March For Our Lives

Thousands of Chicagoans will unite this Saturday in a massive event known as ‘March for Our Lives.’ In light of the recent shooting that killed 17 people in Parkland, Florida, protestors worldwide will be marching together in order to spread awareness about gun violence and increase gun control. The event will take place in unison with the March For Our lives rally in Washington DC. There are many ways to get involved with this very important event. Join one of the 832 events taking place this weekend by visiting March For Our Lives.com, or by donating to the GoFundMe page, which supports the victims and families as well as the fight to end gun violence in all of our communities.

Macy’s Flower Show

Celebrate spring at Macy’s on State Street this Sunday. Watch as breathtaking floral scenes and lush plants from around the world, take over marquee store locations( New York, Chicago, San Franciso), to create a two-week exhibition that will bring to life classic fairy-tales. During Macy’s Flower Show® millions of guests will enjoy exhibits as the store blossoms with themed events, specialty gardens and more.
