The founders of GRLS continue their pop-up series event with a fashionable function featuring(say that three times fast) local designers, artisans, and stylists. The event will kick off with a workshop led by Behind the Seams featured brand Alex Carter, followed by a meet and greet and afterparty featuring Sheila RaSheed, Emma McKee, and Whitney Middleton. Vic Mensa will be launching his SaveMoneySaveLife Foundation this Friday. The foundation will focus on programming to train first responders in Chicago’s most dangerous neighborhoods, as well as targeting indigenous and black youth through a summer mentorship program. The inaugural gala will feature a live concert featuring the local artists along with special guests. General admission is sold out for the event. Chicago Flower and Garden Show
