The event will feature an afternoon of live music, vendors, tamales, specialty Mexican drinks, and of course, all the conchas you can eat. The event is dedicated to supporting the local community, with 100% of the donations collected to benefit ElevArte Studio. The event is free to enter, but donations are accepted. Tiki Lounge Pop-Up Dinner at Kitsch’n

The city-wide exhibition Do Not Resist? 100 Years of Chicago Police Violence, is a community-based, artist-led, visual project and presentation curated by a team of artists with For the People Artists Collective. The exhibition seeks to engage audiences with Chicago’s history of police violence to better understand the present circumstances, for a future of alternative solutions. The exhibition will also take place at the Hairpin Arts Center, Art In These Times, and Roman Susan Gallery, each exhibition paired with teach-ins, workshops, performances, and panels respectively.
