Sheer Envy

Over the last year in fashion we have seen sheer used more often, whether it be for casual or formal purposes, the trend has remained relevant in various forms, which makes it so diverse and fun to wear! Luckily, the trend hangs around in 2016 too; so hold on to your favorite pieces for at least the next year and a half.

For HTWITW, I wore my sheer long sleeve utility army green button up. One of my favorite fall pieces because of its sleek and sexiness. The top is just sheer enough to see little elements of lingerie, while still being conservative with a long sleeves and an even longer torso. I paired the look with black stretch denim jeans and knee high boots.

I swept my hair to the back and rocked some vintage gold pieces, along with my sheer green ensemble. Complimented the look with my favorite purple lip and some glittery gold eyes.

I rocked this look to a grown and sexy event on Chicago’s premiere Southside venue, the Promontory and was appropriately dressed for the soulful, music filled evening.

This sheer top will bring shade for days. Let em’ be envious. Rock this look for a weeknight out with the girls, a fashion-forward first date, or even a solo trip to your favorite Loop hotel bar.

This is how I wear it? How do you?
