Sundays in the Chi are always awesome. This past Sunday was no different. My experience at Sunday’s Renegade Craft Fair at Bridgeport art center was filled with conversations, crafts, and s’more encrusted pie.
Renegade is a weekend long, year-around fair that hosts of hundreds of vendors at each showing, in over 8 major cities. Renegade Chicago takes 3 times a year and is held in various locations throughout the city. The event features hand crafted products that vary from trendy geo-shaped jewelry to inspirational home decor.
This show, in particular, was compromised of indie-artists who dwell somewhere in the Midwestern states. I had the opportunity to meet creatives from all over. These artists, from Cleveland to St. Louis, were as uniquely varied in both their craft in their character.
If you did not have a chance to check out this great exhibition, no worries, it will be back! In the meantime, live vicariously through my experience through the images and links to some of my favorite vendors below.
